The Wisconsin Northwoods has put me under a spell. Everywhere I look, I am moved to paint. From panoramic expanse of the Powell Marsh or the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage, to the tiniest delight, like a curl of birch bark or a single water lily. Reflections fascinate me and are often featured in my work.

I use a complementary under-painting technique to bring harmony to the contrast of light and shadow throughout my landscapes and waterscapes, and will be demonstrating this during the Northwoods Art Tour.
